    The .melbourne gtld domain extension is being promoted around Melbourne in some pretty well known locations. These are just some of the ones I saw around Federation Square, Port Melbourne & the Arts Centre recently.

    As I mentioned in a previous post, why limit yourself to one city ?

    I have maybe seems half a dozen in several years, almost no usage.

    They are still rare, I think I see perhaps two a month and it's worth noting like most domainers something out of the ordinary does stand out.

    Agree, reminds me of back in the day how people used to go .tv spotting (and probably still do). It is like searching for the Tasmanian Tiger. If is worth having a thread about it means the extension is unsuccessful.
