GAKT is 390 which is not good at all, but competition is High, so that's good thing,
really depends what you want to do with the site? if you just thinking for selling the domain name, atm it is not worth a lot

Thanks for the feedback. Any thoughts on valuation?

Also does anyone else have an opinion?

I'd say this is half way there in terms of being very commercial, and thus a far cry from most of the appraisal listings here. Having said that only 58 monthly searches and the length make this unviable in my view.

Where did you get 58 monthly searches from?

I get 390 exacts and 1300 phrases with a CPC of $2.44 and high comp.

Cheers, I must have typed in the plural I think.

Gut feeling based on that is ~$200.

Still not sure if it would be worthwhile building on but some value there fore resale I think. I think it is the type of site that if it were totally dominating (eg in organic and paid listings) could generate maybe 10 sales a month and I think it would need to be in the hands of someone with all the contacts, rental industry experience etc to achieve that.

Long Term Car Rentals has 58 search a month,

Your keyword has 390.

In my eyes this is not a bad domain as long term acquisitions of customers would be worth a bit, best bet would be to contact car companies in the rental space and see who offers affiliates for this, don't think its going to be easy.

Name isnt bad but it is long, but I have a few long domains which do very well.

Yes, sometimes longer domains do better because there is much less competition relative to search volumes for their EMD equivalent.

The search volume for a search phrase like 'Long Term Car Rental' might be 1/20th of that for 'Car Rental' yet the serious competition might be 1/50th meaning for chasing the EMD it can be a decent proposition.

The downside is it's probably less suited to targeting phrase matches and, of course, is missing the brevity that adds inherent value to domains.

I personally thought the real value in this domain was that it was targeting what would no doubt be a higher profitability product in this industry in that it focuses on "long term" car rental.

You'd think it would be more profitable the CPC isn't much different, still I think it is potentially more profitable per sale but its is simply a volume thing that would make it tricky, ie building out a website for quite a small market.
