I've mentioned before I ran pubs in London @ 1990, and I'm presently building some pub websites , in my research I stumbled across an amazing phot of one of my pubs

I wasn't looking it just happened !

the reason for this story is the alley on the right, I've been trying to explain how small it was for years, but now I have a photo of it.

what you can't see is down that alley is a smalllllllll door way where we use to kick people out of the pub if they were out of hand, mostly they would just go away 99.99% of the time, but once 2 "ladies" grabbed my neck tie and I ended up in the alley with them beating the shit out of me !

ahh, a night to remember

great pub though, if you go to London it is a MUSTTTTTT

I was living in London during the 2002 WC, and I worked for the UK Government which meant we all (including management) disappeared to the pub for every England game.

Great times.

i also worked in a pub in St James and it wasn't because of the WC that government depts disappeared to the pub each day
