Is policy delete risky?

Hi Gang,

In the past few days I have seen some policy delete domains which seem to be generic.
What is the general overview of these domains? Is there a risk to purchase these?

Depends on the reason for PD, and your intended use of it.

Some would be registrant request deletion.

I'd imaging that not many people know they have the option to request deletion of their domain. Maybe they where sick of getting renewal notices?

I guess a little mystery is good. I guess the key is good research before any domain purchase.
