It's great to have you posting uDomain, but it is required that you make an intro post please.

If it's "Required" why not lock down posting in all sections exept introductions until post count >0.

And not allow comments in that section until >0 too.

Kinda forces the issue.

You can also have a notification the user see's notifying them of the requirement that is again only visable to users who have not posted yet.

Just an idea.

Thanks for those suggestions Paul. We had planned that, and are definitely going to do it in our updated skin.

Having said that, I might see if we can do it straight away!

It's not that we are trying to be heavy handed, but I think it pees most members off when new members only want to post a sales thread and/or get a signature link - and they don't bother introducing themselves.

We'd just like a bit of foreplay first!
