I don't know if anyone has noticed this but there was an interesting bid on the snapper auction today.
The domain name that I'm talking about is the IceClothing.com.au.
"Fri 30 Mar 2012 12:49:47.780138 - Bidder number 1 placed an undisclosed bid resulting in a current price of $600"
It looks like it had only one bid of $600 and that was the final winning bid.
I thought the bid you put in is your hidden maximum unless someone else has the bid already put in which is higher than your in which case it increments by $1.
However in this case there was only one bid and that was the first bid.
Does this mean because the domain name didn't have any previous bid to compare, it was puts down the first bid as the highest current bid?
Wasn't $10 meant to be the default minimum bid?
Maybe an explanation from Netfleet can be helpful for people to understand this.
Cheers,
