Its common knowledge that a majority of the public does not know the difference between paid and organic. The funny comment is " PPC ads may be more valuable than the top natural positions"
Sure they may be more valuable but you are going to end up paying $20 a click on some high competition markets. An effective long term SEO strategy will always be a cost effective method running in line with your PPC efforts.
