Any update on this, is there more leniency now or is it sill only for names?
Thanks
Reading this thread
It says that:
At the moment the .id.au eligibility requirement is still name/nickname:
(i) Includes, or is derived from, one or more words of registrant's personal
(ii) A name by which the registrant is commonly known

After the 2010 Names Panel outcomes are implemented, auDA will expand eligibility in the .id.au space, with the policy to be relaxed to
include domain names that refer to personal hobbies and interests

Right now if you register a generic name and cannot convince auDA that it is a nickname by which you are commonly known, they will likely policy delete it.
I'm curious to see how they implement the wording of the new policy and what this will mean for monetisation in the .id.au 2LD.
Any update on this, is there more leniency now or is it sill only for names?
Thanks
