i was surprised to see the subdomain deals.visitbrisbane.com.au on a tv commercial last night , i cannot recall ever seeing a subdomain on tv, have you seen one before ?

One of the events they are advertising on a fwd to a folder / aspx file from that sub domain is the FUCHS winternationals
Sounds like a great spectator event
Oh bummer. Turns out it is car racing and not what sprung to my mind

I have just registered a geo name with 'in' infront of it - ie: insydney.com.au

And was thinking of using subdomains - ie:
- property.insydney.com.au
- businesses.insydney.com.au
- deals.insydney.com.au
- jobs.insydney.com.au

What is everyones thoughts on this? I probably wouldn't direct advertise it like this though.

Don't think you will get any fans here, many feel its too 'forgetful and does not easily pass the radio test' Good luck though !
