    http://backpage.com.au/ has been seized by the FBI. I realise they can seize any .com they want but what about the .com.au? Surely they don't have jurisdiction in Australia ? I am just curious, no I wasn't disappointed that i couldn't hire my favorite hooker

    Looks like they've managed to get the name servers changed somehow. Could also have been done through the registrar, tucows.

    Yeah I saw that. Surely AUDA should step in though? Or we just do whatever America says I suppose

    Yes I think AU authorities would need to step in, but good question - can't think of any similar examples in AU...
