How to React to the new generic top level domains (infographic)

I'm holding off until they become popular.

My money is on .horse. What a cracker of an extension :p

I don't understand so many of these new extensions.

There's only a handful of these that I'll bother with and I won't be getting many: .web .shop .blog and a couple of others.

It seems that most of the 'good ones' are still in contention, so we don't even know who'll be running them yet.

The whole 'Co.com' venture looks interesting too...

In summary: they'll be selling third-level domains to the left of the dot (e.g. epicsite.co.com).

I guess they're looking to ride the new TLD wave.

I'm wondering what happens if nefarious sites get the Google ban-hammer or get spam-flagged for dodgy email traffic - how will that effect all the other third-level domains (e.g. innocent.co.com)? Seems wide open to a whole bunch of issues
