How Google ranks websites

Saw this article in the SMH today, and it refers to the latest blog from Matt Cutts.

LOL the "Secret tips" were not that great, "Typical Australian media" they could have just told people to go to http://schema.org/ and get their site set up correctly for those basic changes.

An *apparent* better version of "so called" secrets was the Website Google Review PDF for 2011 which was leaked by a Google employee, Google has been launching legal action against websites which have hosted the document.
