Hey everyone with all this talk about people (Shane, Tim, Chris) joining the auDA board.

I'm fairly new to Domaining, How does one join the auDA community to vote? And where do I find out more information on all the candidates? Is there any benefits by joining the community?

Thanks Scott, What class should i get? I own domains in the .au but i also am a web designer, and have a re-seller store that sells .au domains. Is there any differentiating benefits of either.

As i think your primary interest is in your own domains you would be demand class, selling isn't major, you can join both if you really wanted to.

Join both and you will have 1 vote for Demand and 1 vote for Supply :)
aUDA membership should be free, they do not need the extra money so maybe hold off joining as you can't vote now due to their cut off date.
There may be a change to auDA membership fees hopefully soon to make it FREE like Canada :)

Hi Sean, I like your idea, we have something similar with the Law Institute. I already offer special rates to DnTrade members. I know some service providers that would be happy to get involved. I will raise this with the auDA CEO.

At the risking of posting info others may have read sometimes it good to repost for the newbies. It saves you going back years of forum topics on important issues.

Always feel free to ask questions and even state your own thoughts... you may be right on things others did not see or know the other side of or up to date facts on including myself.

    Great to see you posting!

Yes Agree with that, it can be hard to join in on really old discussions. And it's hard to figure out what's current from old posts. But new posts get new responses and attract new members to the forum too.
