How do you decide in what order to develop

G'day
I imagine like a lot of you have a bunch of undeveloped names
I am curious about how you decide which names you develop first

Does expiry date, value, alphabetically, personal interest, projected and perceived profit or anything else enter into your decision?
Would good or poor performance at a parking company effect your decision?
Would you be more likely to develop a name that is doing well at parking?
Anyone use a method like a dartboard or random selection?

I usually go with what I believe will make the most income.

Also, have a look at the trends for some markets, for example some accommodation will peak over the Christmas holidays, so i'll make the decision to develop it before then or wait until the following peak before developing.

It all comes back to maximum profit for least work. If launching sites in order a, b, c, d, will make me more money than in order b, c, d, a, you will go with the first.

Thanks Jam
I like that "maximum profit for least work"
Can PPC ever be maximum profit for no work?
How come your signature says Freelance Web Design and your site says "not available for Freelance Work" ?

I'd say Jam is using that link anchor for SEO purposes.

I agree with Jam, I just go for what I think will make the most money.

Paz is correct, for "freelance web design" within Australia I'm on the front page. If you add Gold Coast (my local area) I'm rank 1.

I do offer freelance web design, just far to busy at the current time to take on work.

Hey Jam, continuing on with the side conversation, I think you USED to say "available for" and now NOT available for freelance work - got a new full time job but keeping that inbound SEO link text going for the future hey?

Yes Matt, it did say "available for freelance work".
I work for a local web development company 30+ hours a week. Have my own clients that I maintain, and also have my projects on the go which is why I'm not taking on any work.

I am a freelance web designer, if I'm taking on work or not is another thing.

Great being front page mate
And good thinking doing the "not" prefix

I decide on a First in , first out basis.
Unless some name Begs Special attention.

I tend to develop the ones with the high search volume for exact phrase match.

High search volume counts for little if it's parked but with a bit of work developing you stand a good chance of hitting the first page & getting some decent traffic (for the exact match search)
