I have an ausregistry password emailed to me so that I can transfer registrar
Trouble is it has a square root of 7 symbol in it
When I copy it the symbol turns into a 7
Any suggestions?

try this (assuming vista)

click the start button
click all programs
click accessories
click system tool
click character map

find square root sign (was about 3/4 down the page for me)

press select button
press copy button

use paste function when you need it to type the password

Thank you snoop
Unfortunately it has been a long time since I went to school, and I got square root mixed up with "to the power of"
I can"t find how to type "to the power of 7" on that character map

Try X^Y, where X is the initial number and Y is the power.

So, 5^2 would be 5 to the power of 2 (5 sqaured)
5^3 would be 5 to the power of 3 (5 cubed)

and so on...
