Pretty funny makes the news source look like a PR joke, I have been seeing some terrible Tech reports in Australia recently.

I saw a social networking site with 25,000 members recently sell for like 5,000 bucks if that is a bench mark.

I think they said $2 million on the 'a current affair' story last week, perhaps if it gets exposure on tv they add 8 million

They must have good connections to be getting publicity like that. I would imagine though the site will be dead in 6 months, the only good thing about it is the couple of news stories produced. Selling price today probably wouldn't even cover web development costs in my view.
