    NGO = Non-Government Organisation. Means Non-profit basically.

    Quote from Wikipedia :) :

    A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a legally constituted organization created by natural or legal persons that operates independently from any form of government. The term originated from the United Nations (UN), and is normally used to refer to organizations that are not a part of the government and are not conventional for-profit business.

    Welcome Scott,
    I am kinda new here to but I have found the members are tops, and there is a lot of knowledge here.

    One of the best forums I've seen over the years.

    Cheers,
    Peter Mead

    welcome , what area of the world are you located?

    i'm hoping to launch my own personal NFP ( not for profit spacey ) .org.au this year, its been slow coming because i have NO knowledge or NFP organisations.

    i think there are a few members here also involved in this line of work so you should find it fun.

    tim
