Google Search Box

I was wondering if anyone is using a google search box on one of their sites and if so is it achieving any revenue, or do people just look over it ?

i tried it yearssssssssssssssssss ago maybe 2006?
so maybe its old news?

i had no result or earnings

if you want to do it, then set it up, and then go to a friends computer and do some clicks, maybe an internet cafe, i know its against the rules but i think that testing is a valid reason,, as long as its not abused.
