Get your proxies in early for the AUDA meeting

Ned had sent out an email today,

For anyone who can't attend I'd suggest doing the proxy as early as possible. Doing it at the last minute can end up costing votes

"Late or otherwise invalid proxy forms will not be accepted."

There is all sorts of reason ways a form may be deemed "invalid" so it is best to get it in very early to be sure there that there is time to fix any issues if AUDA rejects a form,

A lot of people are just emailing me the form (not Di Parker).

I will then submit the proxies late next week. That way we're the only ones that know our numbers.

But I'm happy either way.

Just a reminder to get those proxies in as early as you can. AUDA is phoning members attempting to drum up support for the chairman so every vote is going to count here!

Let's send a clear message to AUDA that their recent decisions effecting members are unacceptable.

Final post about the SGM on Domainer today.

Response to proxy requests has been overwhelming - and I have reprinted one particular comment from Linux Australia. They seem to understand what a true membership organisation is all about.

The Board of Directors of .au Domain Administration Limited (auDA) invites members to attend a Special General Meeting (SGM).

Date: Monday 31 July 2017
Time: 10:30am
Venue: Crown Promenade, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank VIC

This meeting is being webcast for the benefit of members and stakeholders who cannot attend in person. Members who view the web stream cannot participate in any voting matters unless they have submitted proxy forms by the required date.

“That Stuart Benjamin be removed as a director of the Company with immediate effect.”
