I can't believe that flightscheap.com.au went for $300+ with only 390 exacts?

Why is this industry so hot right now? What am I missing?



I seem to be getting contacted semi regularly about the flight domains that I mentioned I'd be willing to sell awhile ago, but what I can't work out is how are developers are making their money in this industry that justify the prices they are paying for these sorts of domains?

Yes but 1,000,000 local broad searches. Although I tend to measure by exacts first and foremost I think you have to take numbers like these into account too.

I personally don't ever look at broad match. That said I did look at the 9,900 phrase match - and whilst that definitely merits some value I was shocked to see that it got to $300+

Oh well - I guess two people were obviously will to pay $300+ so I guess multiple people saw considerable value - I must be the one who doesn't get it.

This is my thinking. Flight domains once ads are clicked on can get decent revenue so that may be the reason for it... That's my guess
