Finally Got an Offer

I have received my first offer on Netfleet today, very exciting stuff..lol

They have offered the minimum price of $100 for the domain name:

mybusinessfinance.com.au

Knowing that the key words "business finance" are huge in the world of finance, I am hoping for a little more.....

Should I push it to Auction or go back with a bigger counter offer?

It's my first time using Netfleet for a sale so I want to do it properly.

Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.

i'd hold out for more or develop it. Seems there's bugger all left to hand reg in finance niches and prepending "my" to a good keyword seems like a logical thing to do.

Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and/or nothing better in your portfolio, I disagree about holding/developing this one.

Agree with FPR - make a counter offer and see what happens, but it's not a particularly stellar name in my opinion.

As i have previously mentioned a domain is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. If you are a good marketer or sales person you can may be able to dress up a domain and present it to a potential buyer with stats, graphs, features, benefits etc..... Just putting a domain on netfleet and hoping for top dollar is never going to happen.

I sold a domain for $6k to a company that rejected my seo consulting services a year earlier, which would of included that domain name as part of my service and for less. They contacted me as the owner of the domain not knowing I was the same person who they said no to for seo consulting services...... he he he....

I suggest to get maximum value for a domain is to target outside of netfleet buyers you think it would benefit. Play them off against each other and tell them the reasons why they should have it... Don't always target your domain to other domainers.
