Here's my thoughts. Just because many are negative doesn't mean it's a bad site, I like the look of the site just a few improvements can be made:

    1. The "joes.com.au - Domain name sales" header appears stretched and fuzzy (I much prefer your logo in your DP)
    2. The picture of you (I presume) does not seem to fit. Maybe have it on the about page instead
    3. On the resources page you have the a tag covering the spaces as well (probably just a typo)
    4. I like that you've separated the .net.au and the .com.au domains though it may be a better idea to have the better domains (.com.au) on the left
    5. I'm a bit confused about the RSS link as it's not for the domain names (at least currently)
    6. This is personal preference but maybe use a sans-serif font to look more modern etc + my personal preference is that they're heaps easier to read and look better.

I do like the look of the site even though I've come up with 6 things to change :)

    I've seen worse. :)

The only thing that really bothers me are the orange borders.
I would go with a black or a dark red. Happy to help you out if you need it.

Hey Joe can't say i like the style of text on 'explantion of au names'

can you fill the middle section with your .com/s and .net/s ?

main problem is the big gaps

    Colours are OK
Font size is way to big. I would go with 18px max for headers 12 for content.
Comic Sans MS looks like its name.

    Thanks spacey
It is a work in progress, so the big spaces in the middle have already gone from the home page
No I don't want to put the names in the middle for various reasons

    Thank you Luke
I made the main border black at your suggestion
Are there other borders that I should change?

I can hardly read Font size 12
Is there a reason for not liking the font size as is?
Is it just ugly or is there some other reason?
I changed from Comic Sans MS after reading your post

Sans-serif is any type of font that does not have the serifs (those hooks etc on them). An example is callibri or verdena (I'd recommend verdena) (Don't think I spelled that right

    Thanks for helping me

I chose a font named "Covered by your grace" because I could not find those 2
    I quite like it
    What browser do you use?

The contact form boxes go too far outside the allocated area.

I am not a fan of the font either.

I think you still need a more normal font, as in still readable :) Eg. Anonymous Pro or Michroma. You can also just set it to a more normal font like Arial or Verdana
