Done :) So may I ask why a certain number of likes is needed to get it?

Thank you to those who "liked" me. Got to 25 fairly quickly. :)

However, I just discovered a big trap. A Facebook URL must have a minimum of 5 characters!

So Swap does not qualify. Bugger! Wish they told me that when I created the page (and before I went looking for "likes").

Any thoughts as to what name I should use? Facebook/ swapAU; .swap (that's allowed); swapcomau; or swap.com.au

All the good generic terms went a long time ago too..

I was able to get a few good ones, just call it SwapAU probably.

I thought it was my lucky day .........

But the old adage applies - if it seems to good to be true, then it probably is.

Stupid Facebook rules. You'd think that when someone creates a page name that is only 4 characters long,
that FB would tell you then that there is an issue. Not afterwards. Grrrrrrrr!

    Hey James
    I am curious
Why would you recommend /SwapAU rather than /swap.com.au ?

To try and get a keyword in the domain.

Example realestate.com.au calls their facebook page -

    http://www.facebook.com/realestateAus

I see heaps of brands doing similar.

    Not http://www.facebook.com/realestate.com.au

also it is easy for the user imo, all comes down to personal preference.

    Regards.

    James,
Can you help me understand this?
In what way is it easier for the user?
I am trying to understand why fb/RealestateAUS is easier than fb/Realestate.com.au

Maybe I am just biased towards domain names
    I noticed fb/realestate.com

    What do other people think?
Ned obviously agrees with you, James
    Regards
    Joe
