    It's hard enough to explain a normal domain, "just put the smiley face in and then write .ws, now you have a website name" .........sounds awkward

    the emoji domain name system certainly requires the domain extension to be a visual one!
    I think the emoji domain name system could potentially work well with an existing established website!

    For some fun I did a video on how to register these, I have the Flu so I am not at my best. I do not have any Emoji Domains by the way

    Just created a temporary email address for one of my emojis & ran a test to see if I really could send and receive using the pictured smiley when inserted..

    It worked! Unfortunately, I was unable to duplicate xn--h28h in front of the @ I was hoping for the ultimate short email:
