Is this something I need to worry about? I noticed a website has copied the content I wrote on a clients website and put it on there website. Around 1000 words.

Google obv knows we're the originator as we rank above. I guess this annoys me more than anything. They haven't even linked back to us.

it can still be removed, i think the issue is someone stole your content

i'd email them and tell them to remove it

i often do SPECIFIC typos if doing a lot of content, then i can jst search google every now and again to find if anyone is using it.

yes theres programs to do it but its not the end of the world.

I was thinking I should just send a invoice with 1 day payment on it and then hire a collection agency on a no win no pay deal

No need for typos in real content. That actually has a serp penalty applied.

You can just copy and paste some of the content into google, normally the starts of paragraphs.
