Anyone know where domain snapper (and drop for that matter) gets the domain data from (PR, backlinks etc)?

However our backlinks are rooted since Yahoo closed down their backlink API - we will be replacing with another supply soon though

Neither - we use the API. It is supposedly using the same method as this:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

However often when you browse to that and enter a term, it will differ from what the API returns. The GAKT is fickle to say the least, and changes from day to day (even hour to hour).

It should be fairly close though to what you see?
