Yes yes, what's new! But if companies are required to make new extension "public" why do companies like L'Oreal grab these extensions? Of course they will use some for their own marketing, I guess if they make it too expensive no one will reg those extensions anyway?

They'll no doubt keep all the "useful" names. Still I think it will be a big waste of money for them once they have run a couple of trials and realise a big chunk of their market won't be able to enter/recognise these web addresses..
