auDA withholding branch stacking minutes until after SGM?

From what I can see the June minutes have not been released on time despite auDA claiming to have a strict new policy on minutes release.

Is auDA attempting to delay the minutes from the branch stacking meeting (18 June 2018) until after the SGM?

Minutes Preparation and Publication Policy

The timeline for the preparation and publication of minutes is:
1. within 7 days of the meeting, draft minutes to the Chair
2. within 14 days of the meeting, Chair to settle the draft minutes and return them to the
Company Sec
3. within 14 days of the meeting, draft minutes to all directors
4. within 21 days of the meeting, directors to suggest draft changes (if any) to the minutes
5. within 28 days of the meeting, the final draft of the minutes to be circulated to all directors
6. At the next meeting of the board (or sub-Committee of the board), the minutes to be
approved, and signed by the chair

For Board minutes only
7. within 7 days of the minutes being approved and signed, the appropriately redacted minutes
should be up on the auDA web site

The last board meeting is stated as 16th July, so the minutes are obviously overdue.

Kudos for Tim for having a go wrt the foreign members.

I note the wording to make it seem Tim was out of line and verbal that took place.

Cleptos is seriously lacking it credibility.

"The Chair advised Directors that he welcomed new members who satisfied auDA's constitutional requirements, and who passed auDA's verification protocols in accordance with auDA policy."

Chris Leptos thinks it's ok that the majority of auDA demand members are foreigners. Oops.

Foreigners in control of auDA is a good thing? Yeah no.

Chris Leptos thinks that these new members have passed auDA verification protocols. Oops.

So everyone of these foreigners were phoned to see if they were a real person and had an understanding of the role of auDA? Um..... BULLSHIT! You have no credibility.

"The Chair noted that he could not see any basis for Mr Connell discriminating against the proposed members, given that auDA's Constitutional requirements had been satisifed and that the members had passed auDA's verification protocols in accordance with auDA policy."

So the Chair doesn't see supply side employees flooding the demand side membership as a basis for questioning their membership?

The Chair doesn't see being non Australian as being an issue for being an auDA member.

The Chair doesn't see a majority of foreign members as being an issue for auDA the entity that controls one of the most important public assets in Australia?

There you have it, this is how auDA became foreign controlled.

And lets not forget the absolute lack of questioning about this issue by every other director.

Wow nobody had the common decency to speak up. Captured board or mass stupidity?

Recommendation 11 - That auDA diversify its member base in the short-term with a focus on extending membership to stakeholders that are underrepresented.

The CEO and board of auDA think that foreign employees of supply side entities are stakeholders that are underrepresented.

Good job guys, now they are the majority.

Can anybody see a problem with a majority foreign membership..... no seriously let's just award Afilias a lifetime registry deal and let them double their fee.

I wonder if Afilias would like to open the ability to register .au domains to anybody? Hey next resolution at the AGM - open .com.au to anybody. That should help grow domain sales.
