.au wholesale price custs, auDA and auDA Foundation price cuts

auDA has been advised to cut the .au wholesale price by the full new Afilias discount they won the contract with, cut the auDA Fees and cut auDA Foundation fees significantly as of 1st July 2018 or risk facing major Consumer actions.

auDA and auDA Fee's made public

There are also calls for auDA, auDA's Registrars and Resellers to put a notice on all registration and renewal transactions and pricing showing the auDA and auDA Foundation compulsory fees much like how Icann's fees of 18 cents are advertised and on transactions so .com Consumers are made fully aware with accountability and transparency.

FREE COR

Additionally Consumers want to see FREE COR Change of Registrant for the .au namespace as of 1st July 2018 also to catch up to most other global extensions which have always been FREE.

Time is ticking for auDA

It is possible the clock will run out 1st July 2018 to avoid Consumer action if the major decreases and items are not made available, public and live when Afilias hits the go button.

auDA and their auDA Foundation the "not for profits" have over $23 million ( auDA can update with comment .. perhaps they have spent a lot recently ) in the bank and have incredibly high expenses they could have avoided over many years.

Let's see if they do it now and make a formal announcement or what the next stage of the auDA saga is.

auDA and the Board better start comprehending things are serious for the organisation and themselves as Directors and that the Government is not the only worry for them.

IF the cuts are made this will seemingly help avoid the Consumer actions auDA has also been advised.

To be clear auDA has not formally been served or notified of any Consumer actions to my knowledge. They have been given more than ample warning for many years and had ample opportunities to change course and meet the Consumer part of their .au namespace management requirements more fully.
