auIGF tickets now available
Free for auDA members
Tickets for the 2013 auIGF at the Park Hyatt Melbourne on 16 and 17 October are now available. auDA members and students may register free of charge. Tickets cost $75 for the general public.
The first day will consist of a series of expert panels on the main themes of the auIGF:
• Legal frameworks and the Internet: A recipe for failure?
• The role of the Internet in breaking down national, social and cultural borders
• Children and the Internet – rights and protections
• New generic Top Level Domains (new gTLDs) – consumer choice or consumer constraint?
Day two will consist of smaller workshop discussions from our auIGF ambassadors, representing business, charities and non-government organisations. Workshops will cover freedom and privacy issues, online intellectual property, improving services for the disabled, Internet start-up culture and digital citizenship.
