My guess is .asia is just full of defensive registrations with no websites resolving.
e.g. cocacola.asia
Would be useful if google or some other massive indexer created some kind of metric for all these alternate domain extensions which measured the ratio of domains registered vs actual developed non-parked websites.
bit offtopic but I remember seeing this alternate CCTLD URL advertised on the side of a Melbourne tram a few years ago
