Anyone getting .kiwi.nz domains?

I missed out on creditcard and related domains but registering a few high search/high CPC names. Its 2nd level, but .kiwi.nz do sound good for development imo.

Do you think .kiwi.nz is higher up the pecking order than .net.nz?

At this stage no. But it certainly more usable then geek.nz.

Some people hesistant because .kiwi might be released next year too from a private company.

Yeah I live a few months a year in NZ. Found developing and marketing sites quite easy due to low competition. Some pros and cons vs au market but certainly potential.

Picked up only high worth domains like travelinsurance.kiwi.nz, etc

I own a handful of co.nz domains too, but haven't really come across kiwi.nz names...

Though I find the NZ market a bit different to crack with my attempts so far... though I would need a larger sample size to back up my opinion on them
