Alibaba Files Patent for Blockchain Domain Name System

Alibaba has filed a patent for a new domain name system using blockchain tech. It's not the first blockchain-based DNS project (for example Namecoin https://www.namecoin.org/, EOS DNS https://eosdns.io/ etc.), or not the first alternative DNS project - but Alibaba is big player, so will be interesting to see how it plays out.
