Advice on domain backordering!

Hi Guys,

Just a bit of advice for a newbie, what is the best way to back-order a domain?

Registrar: TUCOWS.COM CO.
Whois Server: whois.tucows.com
Referral URL: http://domainhelp.opensrs.net

The owner wanted to sell it, then pulled back, then wanted to, and has now pulled back however is doing nothing with it. So until he either sells it or lets it drop, I would like to have it backordered.

lol, it will be a hotly contested domain.

used to be a huge site.

This doesn't make any sense, the domain was purchased 5 years ago, it's coming up for renewal shortly and it has never had a website on it. So i'm not sure how it "used to be a huge site." ? Perhaps i'm missing something?

Are we talking about tucows.com itself or just a site registered through them? Tucows was huge back in the day, I use to use that site in highschool and that's like 10-15 years ago.

Ahh I see the confusion now :D
The .com I am chasing is just a domain registered through them, i'm not actually after Tucows.com :)

Alright, well since my original question went completely unanswered I thought I would update here anyway. After some reading on dnforum.com (which I found after this place) it seems Snapnames is a good spot for backordering domains registered with Tucows.
