Because it's an acronym that 2 auction savvy users were after.

Look at the site, it's no wonder they were throwing as much at it as it took.

This isn't a record by any stretch of the imagination. I sold MIA.com.au in March 2012 for $16,500. One of the few occasions where the buyer was okay with disclosing the sale price...

It is hard to get 2 endusers to bid in an auction like that. Not surprised at the price as I think it is an appropriate kind of price to try for but I am surprised that two very motivated buyers ended out bidding. Maybe the owner had a fair bit of interest at the one time and decided to send it to auction, who knows.

Who said anything about an auction? Looks to me it was a standard listing.
