Good article to show potential risks of acquiring a domain with legacy spam issues.
I know for a fact some really good generic .com.au domains are been shopped around at the moment with legacy spam issues, because we have clients who request audits on the legacy link profile and past potential domain issues.

Yeah the problem is a lot of people dump toxic domains on GoDaddy as well.

Agree, this is a serious problem. I've seen a few people purchase domains (and sites) with baggage for a high price.

You definitely need to do your research on any purchases, especially those with high value.
