Not really but the developers I worked with specialised in ASP.NET + Windows tech and the cost was a factor and it cost less to develop as I was building the site using their established coding framework.

Just having a look at the gTLD stats and '.xn--3ds443g (在线)' (.online) has already reached 29,722 registrations and is now fourth in the top 30.

It will be interesting to see what happens when .flights, .dating and .properties are launched as I consider these to be sensible domains with good potential due to the ease of branding.
