I'd value it around $110 - $250 If it was a '1' it would have been worth quite a bit more.

I'm sure you're already aware of this but for any 'potential buyer' who may not be as experienced as yourself in domains should know that since you only registered the equally desirable '.net', 'info' and '.org' equivalents last Saturday, those domains can't actually be transferred out of Crazy...

ato.com would have sold so high because its a LLL.com. Personally speaking, asking for offers over 5k I believe is beyond shooting for the stars as atoetax.com.au is free to hand reg.

The registration price is the last thing I thought of as most registrars have them equally priced anyway. The reason its a good idea is simple, 'You Can Get Better Names' which are much more brandable. Of course much like global domains the equivalent '.com.au' will always be the preferred...

I find it interesting that the only three not to sell were the only '.net.au' domains. It appears people are still very skeptical of the .net.au extension. For example personally speaking if I had any involvement with Baseball sure I couldn't get the .com.au as the Australian Organisation...

Today I added a LN com.au domain to netfleet and in the process just checked out the existing domain competition. During this I found 318 domains in the same category 'Two Letter (LL)' but with only 92 (28%) of them actually listing a price. Adding to this the currently listed prices range...

I remembered this today and thought I would check if it sold but its no longer listed and does not appear in the recent sales either.

Of course the countries are never going to merge. Just for fun, hypothetically both extensions would stand. No way would the owner of the .co.nz have any claim to an already existing domain unless they were to register it as a trademark in Australia.

This is true, also I remember reading quite awhile back about host server location playing some type of role also but can't remember who by or where the article(s) was.

I would suspect that too as the domain was only listed 25 Apr 2010. Adding to that, as the domain is far from being 'premium' its very hard to believe.
