Years of poor support takes a long time to reverse. Once bitten twice shy.
They've been praised time and time again with each new staff member coming on board there to only have it all go down the same path of lack of support.
There's not a contract to operate as a drop catcher as such is there? They are just a registrar that built a system that registers domains super fast after expiry. No extra licence needed, just the skills.
That's by design I think. There's a pixel somewhere that triggers an update check. If the pixel is not accessed it doesn't check, and therefore doesn't update.
First impressions are the support is good and responsive.
Hosting seems slow in the back end. Just removing an alias sat there for 30 secs before completing. Just migrated my IWP panel over. Updated the DNS. Will see tomorrow how that performs.
I have my domains there but always had issues with VentraIP hosting. Synergy would be no different. I've taken the Net Virtue option for 3 years. Hopefully it does the trick. Thanks for everyones suggestions.
I'm no longer building or managing external websites. I took a job on a service desk and loving it. It's so good to be able to clock off at the end of the day.
