Years of poor support takes a long time to reverse. Once bitten twice shy. They've been praised time and time again with each new staff member coming on board there to only have it all go down the same path of lack of support.

Did us voting last AGM achieve much? I mean apart from muzzling Tim.

2 bugs. Can't forget the bug that prevents them reading & replying to support emails.

Such a technical glitch not being able to reply to emails. I'm sure a developer can fix that.

What happened?

There's not a contract to operate as a drop catcher as such is there? They are just a registrar that built a system that registers domains super fast after expiry. No extra licence needed, just the skills.

Have used that before. Pretty easy and they look great.

Buy one.

Do we really get a voice? Once we vote someone in they are muted pretty much instantly anyway.

That's by design I think. There's a pixel somewhere that triggers an update check. If the pixel is not accessed it doesn't check, and therefore doesn't update.

First impressions are the support is good and responsive. Hosting seems slow in the back end. Just removing an alias sat there for 30 secs before completing. Just migrated my IWP panel over. Updated the DNS. Will see tomorrow how that performs.

I'm about to move IWP there, and that runs like a dogs breakfast on anything VentraIP related. So i'll find out pretty fast.

I do know that NV use Synergy for their domain wholesaler, I really hope they are not just selling Synergy's hosting too. Time will tell :-)

I have my domains there but always had issues with VentraIP hosting. Synergy would be no different. I've taken the Net Virtue option for 3 years. Hopefully it does the trick. Thanks for everyones suggestions.

It's not a web dev service desk.

I'm no longer building or managing external websites. I took a job on a service desk and loving it. It's so good to be able to clock off at the end of the day.
