auDA SGM Legal Fees - Fundraiser

In a David vs Goliath battle. auDA has thrown their high priced lawyers against the many auDA members who have called the Special General Meeting (SGM).

We have engaged the services of a moderately priced law firm for professional advice for the SGM.

The funds will be used to pay for costs already incurred on legal advice ($4400) relating to the SGM resolutions and voting calculation method.

Also a copy of the latest auDA member list will also be obtained ($250) to understand the make up of the dramatic and and HUGE influx of auDA members from around the globe.

I suspect auDA hoped to stack membership in time for the SGM vote by asking for such a long delay.

Hilarious to see the usual paid social media PR spin doctor quick to post and rack up more charges to Aflias and auDA.. .. The conflicts of interest are serious.

The paid PR soacial media poster is being paid by the .au wholesale registry subcontractor who is selling to Consumers and attacking the consumers they sell to...trying to stop the consumers exposing the con and stacking.

Is there new laws for social media posting by paid PR people and they need to have disclaimers and the claim of personal interest is not enough?

Good. Under Leptos, the Board didn't act in the best interest of the company nor for a proper purpose. Watching them all walk will be the only good thing they would have done for auDA.

Fat chance of a full board resignation. These rusted on recalcitrants will need a jackhammer and dynamite to move them off this pot of gold.

.au domain name Consumers have a right to speak up about being ripped off and concerns about auDA management of the .au namespace.

auDA and Supply parties trying to censor and mute .au domain name Consumers is very serious issue and have no doubt people will continue to speak up.

auDA ran the same argument with the last SGM, claiming only "a small group" were not happy with management. In reality there was a huge vote against existing management. They should have taken action after that SGM.
