CrowdFund for auDA Membership List Fee (SGM)

Done.
But I am still left wondering which statutory obligations prescribe that such a fee be levied.
What fee was levied upon the "grumpy" campaign for access to the same information?

They are crying poor yet again? Is this fee their “next big plan” to try and derail the SGM?

Did auDA hand over the list? What can be done to contact all members and inform them of goings on?

Eg the court victory against auDA and former director Simon Johnson’s comments that the board should resign?

I think there is a pretty constant stream of news but the member base as a whole (eg people outside dnt) may only be hearing Mr Leptos’s propaganda.

Not yet. Here is the response from the auDA company secretary.

Dear Josh,

I can confirm the receipt of the $250 into auDA account and that auDA will supply the register in accordance with statutory obligations.

Kind Regards,
Hasaka

I belive the statutory obligations mean that auDA can wait up to 7 days before sending the Membership list.
If auDA chooses to continue playing these type of games it will only reflect poorly on them.

I think this is stuff the members would want to know about.

Just reading that it sounds like auDA didn't need to charge a fee for the list at all. It sounds like they chose to charge a fee (which they are legally able to do under the the act) in order to impede members access to it? Sounds like also that auDA have set the fee at the maximum amount allowed of $250?

Exciting to receive the first newsletter today,

This in particular struck me,

This leak – which could only have come from the auDA Board or Senior Executive – says more about the current culture of the organisation than about the actions of past employees. auDA Members need to ask themselves – are these the people, who are seemingly obsessed with petty-politicking and mud-slinging, the ones we really want in control of .au’s future?

Why is auDA management refusing to properly investigate the leak? Will the investigation of the leak be up to a future regime?

If the most serious leak in auDA's history is not going to be investigated what message does that send? Why would anyone take auDA confidentiality agreement's seriously?
