Came across this gem of a resource. No More Ransom is an excellent initiative by the a few big players in the infosec community and one worth bookmarking in case you ever come across anyone infected with ransomware.
Lots of good info to read too, such as prevention advice etc.

It doesn't cover all ransomware, but quite a few of the popular older variants.
No More Ransom is a central repository of keys and applications for ransomware, so people can recover their data without paying. It's not complete, of course, but is pretty good against older strains of ransomware. The site is a joint effort by Europol, the Dutch police, Kaspersky, and McAfee.
