Well done to all those involved who stood up; particularly Ned, Ian, Scott, Josh, the auDA ex-employees and the proud members and domainer community.

A quick overview of events on Domainer today.

Thank you to every single member that gave us their support in this cause. And I’m talking both Supply and Demand Class! It shows that auDA is indeed a membership organisation, and that should never be forgotten by those in power.

A special thank you to the team behind this campaign – all are auDA members who cared enough to get involved and put their time and effort in to make this a reality. Ian, Scott, Josh, Craig, David – you have my extreme gratitude. As does my son Luke (also an auDA member) – he was responsible for the Grumpy.com.au site and the MailChimp email campaign to members. And there are others that don’t seek the limelight who also need to be thanked. You know who you are!

I am disgusted at the last minute "resignation". Benjamin, the auDA CEO and Board have spent a fortune on this mess. and that is money which is not theirs to spend so freely.

It is time for a new CEO and new auDA Board.

I want someone like Nicole Murdoch in the auDA Chair role. She has the guts to call Bullshi$ of the lies about the need for another .au extension Benjamin seemed to still post in his resignation statement for this to go forward.. Why? Look at the failed .uk, failed.nz, "Secret" Deloitte report to Ceo... saying it is not needed or justified!

Thank god Benjamin is gone but this job is not over. The auDA CEO and auDA Board is on notice. Fix your shi% or you will be sacked or forced to resign.

It is shameful Benjamin did this on Friday night before he knew he was going to be sacked. He did not " step aside" He was going to be sacked and by an overwhelming majority of supply and demand members AND some auDA Board Directors also had voted to sack him!

We do NOT want another auDA Chair to lead us down the same path. The board and CEO better change. Let's not forget all of the decisions have been " unanimous" auDA stated in so many of their media announcements...

CONGRATULATIONS to some Directors who say they voted to SACK BENJAMIN and that they had already told the auDA CEO and Benjamin this was their vote.

Any serious questions you'd like asked at the SGM?

If you're not attending, and there is a particular issue you'd like canvassed, then either post here - or email me.

I think the revised code of conduct is still unacceptable,

Particularly this part,

In any forum, including in the media, where acting as an auDA member or identifiable as an auDA member, I will conduct myself in a manner that will not bring the organisation, Directors or staff, into disrepute.

There is other parts that could be used to prevent members speaking out also.
