I'm going to put the original comment back up because there definitely seems to be something going on with this.............

I left AUDA a comment watching their video from the members meet up, specifically regarding the code of conduct included including lines copied from the Western Bulldogs Football club.

Within about 1 hour not only was my comment pulled but the entire video is gone. I suspect they also did not like the commentary on Dntrade, well done AUDA, didn’t you say in the video that all issues were up for discussion?

Original discussion of this issue here,

https://www.dntrade.com.au/threads/auda-code-of-conduct.11488/#post-87024

You can see the video was posted on Vimeo by user “ANGRYchair” (ironic) and all his other videos remain,

The video was set to private when it was made available, so it could only be accessed through that link (i.e. it wasn't indexed and available through search on Vimeo). Publishers can also enable or disable the ability for Vimeo site users to download a video, they chose not to allow downloads.

I guess they forgot to disable comments!

I suspected that the video might get yanked at some point, so I created a copy using video/screen capture software. I did it on the HD setting though (a mistake in hindsight), so it's over 4gb in file size.

Cheers Luke,

I have now check the link on several proxies and a member here also checked the link in his newsletter and it definitely not going to the video.

If you had a previously loaded version of the video in your browser I believe you can still watch it. (this is why I got confused about whether this video was pulled or not in the first post)

Auda looks to have reinstated the link around 5-6pm with "comments are disabled" now showing.

They certainly are not helping their reputations, long term career or board chances.

Fairly doubtful they will get onto Icaan later also now as have have burn't so many past auDA staff,auDA lawyers, directors, suppliers, members...

4 audience members
2 auDA staff members
1 Demand Class Director
1 CEO
1 cameraman

Total costs for travel, room, auDA staff, cameraman, PR... etc?

auDA had more members back in 2002 than it has now!
15 years later they have lost 50% of members.
Why??

In my opinion that is totally incorrect.
When I joined in 2005 there were around 30 Members.
You can get an idea of the number of members over the years from the AGM minutes and the voting stats.

Any stats on that, haven't heard it before, very interesting.

The difference now is the current auDA membership does not accurately count how many people / entities have joined numerous times under different names, under different entities, how many where fake, how many where signed up bu their supply company, how many signed up with multiple entities names in both supply and demand to create voting influence

The real membership of auDA today would be good to know. Is it is more likely to be just 70 people or less ?

I do not have the 2002 auDA membership database of 380 to see how much "stacking" was occurring at that time. That would be interesting for someone to do each year..Maybe auDA has this info from their "audits" and why they chose to phone people this year?

An audit could help show;
- The real figure
- Who has stacked their way into auDA roles over the years
- How Supply has seemingly influenced both Demand and Supply and this auDA Policy and ... contracts?

From 2 or 3 people ( besides auDA staff, 1 director and the cameraman) turning up for the last auDA roadshow event it is fairly obvious the current style of auDA "engagement" with members is not working.

People did not go for some reason.. Why not? time, place, content of the meeting, presenter, trust factor, conflict with others attending etc? auDA needs to evaluate why the turn up disaster.

You should probably be able to access it here, I suspect AUDA hasn't yet been able to actually remove anything on Vimeo and have just changed the newsletter link to prevent people accessing it,

1 Minute 30. auDA welcomes the members signatures for the Petition Resolutions...... Really?
