Default .xxx gold

Well we all seem to be talking about finding the gold in previously registered domains but what about the new " land release" .xxx TLD ?

I've just picked up hensnights.xxx and bucksnights.xxx , yes its in my market as i do alot of wedding sites but it just goes to show there is gold in them there hills. And i didn't have to bid against anyone and it cost me just $62 a domain.

a cold beer, feet up, a little surfing and there they were.

once again these are not going to be porn sites, they are goingto be information sites with advertisers but the .xxx brand is a winner for the right business.

Default .xxx

I looked at these domains a fews ago but decided to register others as I am not in the industry.

You might be interested in hens.xxx which is another one I found.

Cheers,
Paul

Not sure I see how this is evidence of gold in the hills, if finding a name to register involves "a cold beer, feet up, a little surfing and there they were" then it is highly likely the names are not worth anything.

My advice is try and sell these names and see how you go before registering more.

Good point.

I did register one .XXX domain (reluctantly), but only for brand protection for one particular domain. Also regged the .co for same reason.

My busy is buy BUILD sell, so the value comes from what i make them into. i saw on flippa some person bought 20 .xxx of very average quailty and now wants $62K for the lot, now he's dreaming.

I've only got 3 .xxx's and not looking for more now as I will be developing them to see how google is going to rank them.

another reason for the hensnights is i'll make it into a directory site and I already have the program to do it so development will be alot easier.

I agree I purchased one .xxx to test google ranking and see if it's worth investing time/money in to. Mine is a based around an online adult store which will be using an xml feed from an adult store affiliate program.

Good luck findtim.
