Default WHOIS info. What info should one enter?

Hello dnt'ers

What are the bare minimum requirements when entering WHOIS information, and what is recommended to write in the WHOIS areas?

If you can assist thank you.

Thank you
Blue Wren

Do you mean in terms of protecting your identity? If so you can put down a name like "Domain Manager" or "The Director" for the contact names, however you still need to enter eligibility details so anyone can still use them to out who you are.

No specific terms; just wanted to know the guidelines or rules on this. Thank you for replying.
