With the US Dollar moving the way it is, way south, just now the AUD is at $1.02 in exchange for USD$1.00
To me that is a bloody awesome opportunity to pump some money into websites, buying them from US sellers, hiring US freelancers to do work for you. Though with all that comes monetisation, and most would be paying in US$ Its also a great opportunity to be importing goods from the states for sale in australia. Is it affecting you in a good way? or is it hurting your profits? |

Yes, the US economy is affecting everything from Google, Parking companies and down to CPA... HOWEVER great news when buying domain portfolios and traveling over to the USA.

i agree - good for buying domains/websites.
though i work for an american company, so our budgets have been slashed in response. the euro is stronger and US dollar no good so its costing them more money for the same thing than it was a few years ago.

Now is the time where im still laughing at how the USD has moved. Im now in the process of moving my revenue streams to USD and will be making the MOST of the slump in the aussie dollar. Its a win win situation whichever way you look at it, you just have to make sure that you know how to make the most of both possibilities.
