Default Transfer of .AU

Hi all,

What is the going rate or the most economical way of transferring domain to my name?
I'm sure the last time I did one of these it was about $60 or so.
These dudes want a hundy.
Isn't transfer free then you pay to have it reregistered under new name?
What do you guys pay?

Thanks

Just thought I should add, I've used a bunch of different registrars for transfers and most of them range from horrible to atrocious.

Drop, apart from being the cheapest, is also in my experience the fastest and most efficient.

Guys, don't change.

I've found Intaserve to be the cheapest, fastest & easiest.

However I do get a discount on the transfer fee for having names registered there. Might not be as competitive if you are doing a one-off

Have you negotiated a Change of Registrant + Renewal fee of less than the $50 that drop are charging?
I understand if you do not wish to reveal the rate
I used to refer people to Jumba because they charged $70
Now it is a one way street all the way to www.drop.com.au
Have you read http://www.netfleet.com.au/index.php?a=faqs#19 lately ?
Perhaps sales might be encouraged by an update
