Default Trademark decision

I don't know whether anyone reads "The Domains" blog, but they reported on an interesting trademark decision by WIPO. A lot people seem hot under the collar about it. What implications could this have on our .au market? http://www.thedomains.com/2010/01/31...-of-2010-list/

"What implications could this have on our .au market?"

Wont have any ... http://www.lawsociety.com.au belongs to

THE LAW SOCIETY OF NEW SOUTH WALES ...

But the other implications are: if you want to keep domains that are contested you have to defend your supposed rights to the domain in the proper manner and present a defence ... end of story .. as Howard Nue stated .. You snooze, you lose.

I was a bit vague in my statement/question Max. I knew who owned that particular domain here in Australia, but I was just wondering out loud the implications generally. I don't disagree with you, but here was a lot of diverse comment on that blog from seasoned domainers. There since been another decision by WIPO that is equally controversial. Same blog.
