Default How about these

palmbeachqld.com
palmbeachqld.com.au

I've been looking at these for a while and went ahead and registered them last night.

Rarely do I buy when I have little use for but thought these may be fairly decent commodities.

Any thoughts?

Robyn

Would be good developed.

I can see you needing to hold them for quite a while in order to make a nice sum flipping - but nice to develop for now.

it will be good for city names (and name of places) withOUT qld.

I bet you could not have these names sold unless you develop the sites and make them useful to the public.

Yeah, the qld is obviously an issue, this is why I pondered for some time. Palm Beach (gold coast) is becoming a very popular and sought after suburb in the real estate sector for both residential and commercial premises. A huge luxury apartment/shopping village in Central Palm Beach is well underway and is a big part of the suburb's redevelopment. The pbeach . com .au refers to the nsw northern beaches suburb and the .com is the american.

So I thought I'd grab it anyway.

Hi Robyn, I have both palm-beach.com.au and palmbeach.net.au for sale if interested? But I guess you have spent the money on those now.

Hi Don,

Well there you go! I'd have to say I'm curious more than interested at this stage, to be honest, as the ones I have are low priority on my to do list. Do you have any expectations you'd care to share? Mind you I understand if not as I'm unlikely to purchase atm.

Regards,
Robyn

Hi Robyn,
Have no grand plans at the moment, will be doing some ads in area's I have geo domains in local papers, but not all at once. Have one going in Townsville paper for www.townsville.net.au this Saturday under Realestate/business section, will be interesting to see how it goes. Have just gone live with www.car-rental.com.au and probably do some more work on it.

cheers
Don

Don,

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested to know how the advert goes. Please keep us posted. Good luck with it.

The car site looks good. Remind me to show you a domain of mine in a similar nichev - in a few months. It's on my October list.

Cheers,
Robyn

car-rental is nice, good paying affiliate programs out there for it, as I'm sure you know.

Thanks Paz & Robyn,
Yes I will keep you posted on the old classified 20th century type way of advertising, who knows it will probably work Lol
Yes I am hoping I will get some business with the car rental site, I certainly do with www.goldcoastairport.com which I bought off a chap in the US who got it on a drop site.
Happy with how it is going, I don't think he knew how good the site was, as I still think I got it for a bargain. Ranks just under the com.au site for Gold Coast Airport
